Aims
THE SOURCE is a Londonderry/Derry based recycled resource centre. It is a voluntary organisation and registered charity.
The Play Resource Centre aims to promote creative play and encourage environmental responsibility, by collecting non-toxic re-usable waste materials from industry and providing them, together with other low cost play resources, to groups working with children and young people throughout the North West of Ireland.
CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP
Any materials or equipment from the play resource centre must be used solely for the activities of the member group. These materials must not be used for personal gain or be re-sold in any way.
The SOURCE Resource Centre has the right to refuse or rescind membership to any group whom they feel contravenes the conditions of membership. A member has the right to appeal to the management committee against such a decision.
The Resource Centre reserves the right to place limits on quantities of materials collected.
Membership of the Resource Centre is not open to any group who does not adhere to its’ Aims and Equal Opportunity Policy.
The Resource Centre reserves the right to refuse admission to a member on reasonable grounds.
The person so named on the card when collecting materials or hire equipment from the Resource Centre must produce a valid membership card. Membership cards are not transferable.
Renewal of Membership - membership will be backdated to the date of expiry and will last one year from that date regardless of the date the renewal fee was received.
Play Resource Centre reserves the right to alter or otherwise add to these conditions by giving written notice.
